MORTAL KOMBAT TOURNAMENT
$5 Entry fee
All tournament gameplay quarters will be provided
1st place Cash prizes + Free Galaxy shirt + 1 Free drink card
2nd place gets entry fee money back and 1 free drink card
3rd place gets 1 free drink card
All winners will be announced on social media (with winner permission).
GAME SETTINGS
Game Version: Mortal Kombat 1
The matches will consist of 3 in-game rounds on ‘Versus’ mode and the ‘best two out of three’ rounds will determine the winner.
The winner of each match of the tournament will progress to the next match, and the loser will be knocked out of the Tournament
TOURNAMENT BRACKETS
Entrants will be drawn against one another in pairs at random by Galaxy Bar staff.
We will have a coin flip before each match to determine placement on the machine. The winner of the coin toss then gets to choose which side of the machine they would like to stand on.
RULES AND MATCH PROCEDURES
After the coin toss the players will then select their characters, and proceed to complete the first match of the “best two out of three”
The losing player of the preceding round may choose to change characters; the winner must stay with the current character.

MATCH OBLIGATIONS
Punctuality
All Players must be physically present by the Match start time. Players that are not ready to play within ten (10) minutes of the Match start time are subject to penalties including a possible Match forfeiture.
Forfeits
Players may not voluntarily forfeit a Match without prior authorization from Tournament Organizers and, even with authorization, are subject to further penalties for forfeiting.
DISQUALIFICATION
Insults during a match or at any stage in the Tournament may lead to disqualification
The following severe incidents may also lead to disqualification: 
extremist statements, threats of violence, sexual harassment, etc.
Excessive annoying or offensive contributions within the Tournament are considered as spamming.
 *Spamming can lead to your disqualification
All forms of cheating in the Tournament are forbidden and may lead to disqualification.
 *For the avoidance of doubt, the use and/or exploitation of ‘glitches’ or in-game errors shall be regarded as cheating.
